Poppy was the dam of 2 outstanding litters sired by Ch. Bonneville Jackson.

The first litter of 4 produced 3 champions. Ch. Sunnyside Lagarada Timber, Ch. Sunnyside Bramble (better known as Woody) and my own silly Ch. Sunnyside Skylark V. Raseac, CGC. The fourth member of this litter, Sunnyside Rainforest Crunch, was never shown.

From the repeat breeding, Ch. Sunnyside Magnolia Madegra is finished and her litter sister, Sunnyside Willow At Aldawn won points as did her brother, Sunnyside Bodhi Bonne.

Poppy was diagnosed with lymphoma in December of 1997. I decided to opt for chemotherapy. It was like a miracle. Within 2 days of her first treatment her enlarged lymph nodes completely disappeared. She began acting like a puppy again. The chemo gave us another 15 months together. If you ever face this with your dog, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you opt for chemotherapy. Dogs do not react as severly as humans. The added 15 months of life it gave her was well worth the cost. Should you wish to talk to me about this, I'm always available.
